League of Filmmakers Relaunches with Bold New Vision

John Parenteau, with CFA Founders, Indeana and Haeleigh

What happens when the people behind the scenes finally get seen? That’s the question that sparked the relaunch of the League of Filmmakers (LOF).

For too long, independent creators—the ones writing, shooting, editing, producing—have been doing the work without the credit, access, or support they deserve. LOF is here to change that.

LOF “Join the League“ banner

Now operating as a digital trade publication and national coalition of filmmaker communities, LOF is dedicated to elevating and uniting creators across all disciplines. Whether you’re cutting together podcasts, producing live events, or directing your first feature, LOF recognizes you as a filmmaker and provides resources, editorial opportunities, and professional networks to help your work thrive.

Backed by founding groups like Cinematography for Actors, NewFilmmakers LA, LAPPG, Blackmagic Collective, Filmmakers Alliance, and Latinxorcists, as well as partners including Tiffen, Tilta, Sigma, Aputure, and Scriptation, the League is building a stronger, more connected community of creators.
